Hot Baths

So many people today have given up the idea of a nice hot bath, to take a quick shower.  I've heard.... I don't have time to soak.... or.....ewww your just sitting in dirty water!  But a shower doesn't raise your body temperature, because parts of you are always exposed to the air!!!

Now I'm talking a soaking bath, not a washing bath. If you want to soap up take a quick shower.... a TRUE hot bath uses no soap!!! 

Just soaking and rubbing your legs and arms to increase circulation.

But what people don't get is the for century's a hot bath has been the mainstay of life.  The Greek baths, Japanese hot baths, all the way back to roman times and further... Hot baths have been a way to maintain your health.

And it's not just for cleaning. 

A hot bath raised your bloods temp, killing of bacteria,  and cancer  cells that may be free floating in your blood stream.

But it has to be a very hot bath.  Sometimes after a bath I actually lay down in front of a fan till my body cools off.  The hotter the better.

Another great tip is to spray some "leave in" conditioner in your hair in the morning... and when you take your bath, after you soak... lay back and immerse your hair in the hot water... switching it back and forth, don't shampoo it..... it soaks the conditioner deep into your hair and makes is sooooooo soft.  Just towel dry and comb.  You will be shocked at the difference in your hair!

You can add some salt if you wish, to cleanse your aura, but don't add anything else!

At least once a week, and you will see a marked improvement in your Joints, hair, and health!!!!

Creepy Halloween face...actually easy to do....just attach a zipper using some eyelash glue to your face, open zipper in middle of face and using red halloween face paint color in any part of your skin that is in the middle of the opening..... and your done!

Candle Powders

I find this works better then oils to anoint candles.... less chance of dangerous flair ups and fires~


Candle powders are a great addition when preparing spell candles. They're easy to make, and add extra kick to spell work when the powder has been properly charged during it's making. Good bases for candle powders are:


unscented cornstarch, fine saw dust or baking powder. The herbs must finely ground before mixing them with the base. (food processor is fantastic for this... also coffee bean grinders! and of course mortar and pestles... but that takes a lot of work!)

Also you can add a few drops of food color to the powders to give them the color you need for a specific spell... and pretty too!

To use, 1st anoint the candle with the water (moon blessed water is best to use), then either lightly dust the candle by sprinkling it with the appropriate powder, or pour some of the powder out on a flat surface and roll the damp candle in it.

HEALING: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of rosemary, sandalwood, vervain and basil.

LOVE: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of catnip, basil, yarrow and jasmine.

MAGICK: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of dragon's blood, cinnamon, patchouli and rosemary

PROSPERITY: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of nutmeg, jasmine, cinnamon and bayberry.

BANISHING: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of clove, frankincense, ginger and pepper.

Candle spell by color

Use a purple candle and burn it until the liquid wax drips down the candle. Then say: Thee of stars and moon send me my money till i will thank you.


Recite that 2 times. To bring you luck and money. then the wax should then harden a little use a toothpick and poke it a little to get a sample of it and put it your hands and say the phrase one more time.

Wine Jello Shots!!!!!!

Wine Jello Shots; because real women are classy, when they are being trashy



Ingredients

5 tablespoons cold water
3 packages unflavored gelatin (about 3 tablespoons total)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup orange muscat dessert wine
1 1/4 cups Sauternes or similar sweet wine
1 each grapefruit, blood orange, navel orange, tangerine, and Meyer lemon, or another combination


Directions

1.Combine 5 tablespoons cold water and gelatin in a bowl. Let stand 5 minutes.

2.Combine sugar, 1/2 cup water, and wines in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until sugar has dissolved. Add gelatin mixture, and whisk until melted. Cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, and pour through a fine sieve into a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish. Let cool completely.

3.Cut peel and pith from citrus. Cut each segment from membranes, then cut horizontally into 1/8- to 1/4-inch-thick slices (you will need 1 cup). Arrange in a single layer over gelatin mixture. Refrigerate, uncovered, overnight.

4.To unmold, run a knife around edge of dish. Using an offset spatula, gently coax gelatin from sides. Invert and turn out onto a cutting board. Trim edges, and cut into 1 1/4-inch squares. Serve immediately, or refrigerate, uncovered, up to 1 day.



Makes about 4 1/2 dozen
